White grizzly bear claws

white grizzly bear clawsSome grizzly bears have white claws.  This is a very old grizzly with a busted jaw causing one of his teeth to stick outside his mouth.

  1. B,
Nice photo. A snagletooth seems to be the most common form of crippling injury resulting from bear-bear combat. All instances I’ve seen have been adult males? Have you ever seen a female or an adolescent with a broken jaw and snagle tooth?
